About the position

The Senior Events Manager at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of complex events, ensuring high-level service throughout all phases. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage client relationships to deliver exceptional event experiences in a luxurious waterfront setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of event planning and coordination, ensuring high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing guidance and support from initial consultation to event completion.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Catering teams to ensure seamless handoff from sales to event execution.
  • Create detailed event plans and communicate requirements to all relevant departments.
  • Oversee logistics for events, including setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all client expectations are met.
  • Maximize event revenue by identifying upselling opportunities and offering enhancements to improve the event experience.
  • Conduct site inspections with potential clients and participate in the sales process as needed.
  • Lead the post-event evaluation process to capture client feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Regularly attend sales and operations meetings to review upcoming events and align on goals and objectives.

Requirements
