Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Senior EVSE Engineer to join our Electrical team in Plymouth, Michigan. As a Senior EVSE Engineer, you will be responsible for independently conducting testing and evaluation of various products to ensure compliance with U.S., Canadian, and international product safety standards. This includes writing detailed reports and maintaining effective communication with clients throughout the testing process. You will engage in both on-site and off-site evaluations, requiring a thorough understanding of national codes and standards, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics and manufacturing instructions. Your role will involve identifying the necessary test instruments and equipment, following established test plans, and performing a range of core tests including rating, leakage current, dielectric, temperature, pressure, stability, mechanical hazard, flammability, and more. Additionally, you will mentor less senior technical personnel, provide sales support, and communicate project status and test results to clients and management. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
