This role is distinct from that of an Executive Assistant to the Board, as it focuses on supporting a system executive whose responsibilities are more aligned with organizational scope. Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing administrative support to a system executive.
  • Manage executive calendars and correspondence.
  • Prepare meetings and agendas, ensuring all logistical matters are addressed.
  • Network extensively with organizational leadership and health system stakeholders.
  • Represent the supervisor and health system in a positive and professional manner.
  • Assist in special projects and executive support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Liberal Arts, or a related subject, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Graduation from a technical program in secretarial or office support services or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant for an executive.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
