About the position

The Senior Executive Assistant to the CFO at Gundersen Health System plays a crucial role in providing advanced administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer and the finance division. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage complex calendars, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong interest in finance, ensuring that the executive's needs are anticipated and met efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates a variety of administrative processes and activities such as database, budget, HR maintenance and reporting, communications and management of multiple calendars and events to multiple senior leadership roles.
  • Reviews administrative work procedures, policies & operational methods, identifies and documents best practices, conducts appropriate audit mechanisms, and provides high-level administrative support for top-level executives.
  • Routinely deals with highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Compiles information for reports or presentations and prepares charts, graphs, or tables.
  • May be responsible for budget tracking and maintaining financial or personnel records and databases.
  • Responds to correspondence and edits and proofreads documents.
  • Communicates with others in person, telephone, and/or email, and may receive and screen visitors and handle general inquiries.
  • Assists with preparing for and facilitating meetings, conferences, programs, and/or special events.
  • Establishes and maintains filing systems and orders and stocks supplies.
  • May enter information from various sources into computer databases and verify data entered into the computer by checking printouts/reports for errors and correcting as required.
  • Adheres to regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Business or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity
