About the position

Atlassian is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our Leadership Operations team, a global group of over 60 Executive and Administrative Assistants dedicated to enhancing the productivity and focus of Atlassian leaders. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our leaders can operate at their best, and it requires a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration across the organization. As a distributed-first company, we offer flexibility in work location, allowing you to work from home, in the office, or a combination of both, while ensuring that you are located in the Pacific Time Zone to facilitate effective communication and collaboration with your team and leaders. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellence in foundational Executive Assistant tasks, including calendar management, email management, travel arrangements, expense tracking, and general administration. You will partner closely with your leader to manage their time effectively, ensuring they are well-prepared for all meetings. Building trusted relationships with leaders and internal and external partners will be essential to stay aligned on priorities and actions. You will also play a key role in bringing teams together, serving as a common thread and connection point within our global team. Your responsibilities will include participating in meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, and leading action items. You will also run virtual and in-person events, help draft communications on behalf of your leader, and review datasets to create insightful reports. Additionally, you will lead or participate in ad hoc projects and contribute to Leadership Operations meetings, fostering relationships throughout the team. Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellence in all foundational EA tasks including calendar management, email management, travel, expenses, and administration.
  • Partner with your leader to manage their time and ensure they're well-prepped for all meetings.
  • Develop trusted relationships with leaders and internal and external partners to stay in rhythm on priorities and actions.
  • Bring teams together and be a common thread and connection point within a global team.
  • Participate in meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, and leading action items.
  • Run virtual and in-person events.
  • Help draft communications on behalf of leader including presentations, blogs, emails, and review datasets to create insightful reports.
  • Lead or participate in ad hoc projects.
  • Participate in Leadership Ops meetings, contribute to our craft and build relationships throughout the team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years demonstrated experience in an Executive Assistant role, supporting senior leaders.
  • Ability to work as a team and take direction from your EA team lead.
  • Strong focus on solutions and comfort navigating change and removing blockers.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders in high-growth technology companies.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and prioritize demands effectively.
  • Expertise in planning remote and in-person events and meetings at scale.
  • Ability to work at speed and navigate new technologies and systems for efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on data and experience.
  • High performance and keen to drive impact.
