About the position

The Senior Executive Assistant at Eaton Corporation is responsible for providing comprehensive support to a senior executive, managing various administrative tasks, and ensuring effective communication with board members and stakeholders. This part-time role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual capable of handling travel logistics, personal management, and board-related activities efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage board-related travel, expenses, and materials.
  • Liaise with board members and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and follow-up on action items.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for board meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and governance standards.
  • Maintain organized files and records, both electronic and physical.
  • Conduct research and provide summaries on various topics as requested.
  • Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the executive.
  • Manage email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow-up.
  • Plan and coordinate detailed travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
  • Handle all travel-related logistics, ensuring seamless experiences for the executive.
  • Oversee the preparation of travel documents and expense reports.
  • Research and arrange travel - including entry requirements, cellular phone plan changes, hotel, air fare, cancellations, penalties, etc.
  • Coordinate personal appointments, reservations, and other personal activities on behalf of the executive.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Conduct regular audits of documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Experience as an executive assistant within a corporate environment.
  • Experience as an executive assistant for a C-level executive.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Familiarity with board meeting preparation, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
