About the position

As the Administrative Coordinator you will provide administrative support, including but not limited to calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination. You will manage calendars, schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, draft and edit professional correspondence, answer phones and emails, prepare meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, maintain confidentiality, coordinate projects, and facilitate onsite meetings. You will also collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain merchandising policies, prepare detailed reports, and participate in learning initiatives. Your role will require you to provide friendly, proactive, and professional support to others while exemplifying Rural King's values.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Draft and edit professional correspondence such as emails, letters, presentations, and reports.
  • Answer phones and emails in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, and ensure timely distribution of action items.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and documents.
  • Coordinate projects.
  • Arrange and facilitate onsite meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop, update, and maintain merchandising policies and procedures.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication of these policies across teams.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread detailed reports, presentations, and other documents using advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with other associates and departments to streamline processes.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King's Values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of administrative experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable navigating computer systems and software.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively listen and provide thorough responses.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work.
