About the position

The Senior Executive Business Partner to the CFO and CPO at Wayfair is a hybrid role based in Boston, responsible for managing day-to-day activities for senior leadership and overseeing the Corporate Travel and Executive Assistant (EA) program. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting the executives of one of the largest omnichannel retailers in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Financial Officer and Chief People Officer.
  • Manage day-to-day administration and coordination of executive support.
  • Proactively manage calendars and prioritize meetings.
  • Schedule and coordinate weekly and ad hoc meetings, ensuring effective communication.
  • Handle all aspects of travel arrangements, both international and domestic.
  • Manage business expenses for executives, ensuring timely processing.
  • Draft communications on behalf of leaders.
  • Provide logistical support for large in-office events.
  • Interact professionally with key internal and external contacts, including investors.
  • Set global corporate travel policy and make efficiency recommendations.
  • Manage travel and payment vendors, ensuring smooth booking and support.
  • Administer and monitor travel policies and spend.
  • Act as a point person for visiting executives and corporate investors.
  • Directly manage 3-5 other senior EA leads and mentor them.
  • Work closely with EA Leads to enhance talent development programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 7+ years of experience as an executive assistant or in a business operations role, including 5 years in a managerial position.
  • Experience working with multiple leaders simultaneously.
  • Demonstrable success in talent development and growing direct reports.
  • Ability to be assertive and provide constructive feedback.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong planning capabilities.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and situations proactively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Enterprise Suite tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • High level of discretion regarding confidential information.
  • Flexibility to handle ad hoc issues outside of core business hours.
