About the position

The Executive Compensation Analyst position focuses on analyzing and managing the company's executive compensation programs, including base pay and incentive plans. The role involves developing work plans for compensation processes, conducting market analysis, and preparing materials for compensation committee meetings. The analyst will collaborate across the enterprise to implement and improve compensation programs, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement executive compensation programs including administration and communication.
  • Collaborate across the enterprise to maintain strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Execute the incentive forecast and payment process.
  • Develop executive pay and job placement recommendations based on market benchmarking and internal equity.
  • Assist in creating and revising executive job descriptions.
  • Develop the quarterly executive compensation booklet.
  • Research and assess market prevalence and trends regarding compensation design and executive benefits.
  • Participate in third-party executive compensation surveys.
  • Create models to analyze and forecast the effectiveness of compensation program design.
  • Prepare summary information and exhibits supporting compensation recommendations.
  • Prepare materials for compensation committee and board meetings.
  • Lead system automation projects and document business requirements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing compensation customer-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrated analytical aptitude with the ability to organize and analyze data.
  • Experience developing compensation work plans and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and writing skills for creating materials on complex topics.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of financial measures and budgeting concepts.
  • Experience interacting with management at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Executive Compensation Experience: Managing executive compensation programs and familiarity with compensation structures.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas.
  • Advanced PowerPoint Skills: Designing executive presentations and conveying complex information clearly.
