About the position

As a Human Resources team member at Genworth, the Senior Executive Compensation and Total Rewards Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the culture and associate experience that empowers employees to excel in serving customers, communities, and each other. This position is integral to the Compensation Team, focusing on the design, analytics, implementation, and delivery of executive compensation programs. The analyst will be responsible for preparing materials for the Compensation Committee, drafting the annual proxy statement, conducting modeling and analyses, and managing special projects for two public companies. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The responsibilities include supporting the completion of the Compensation Discussion and Analysis (CD&A) of the Annual Proxy and other relevant executive compensation disclosures for Genworth and its public subsidiary, Enact. The analyst will prepare proxy-related materials, assist in creating materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, and conduct benchmarking of executive-level pay against market best practices. Additionally, the role involves managing activities related to long-term incentive program design, budgeting, and planning processes, as well as leading executive compensation projects from design to execution, including modeling, planning, communication, and training. The analyst will also be tasked with preparing ad-hoc compensation analyses and reports as requested by Senior Leadership, along with day-to-day administration and communication regarding long-term incentive compensation programs, which include both equity- and cash-based incentives. This position requires a high level of initiative, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Support the completion of the CD&A of the Annual Proxy and other relevant executive compensation disclosures for Genworth and Enact.
  • Prepare proxy related materials including the draft CD&A tables.
  • Assist in the creation of materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Conduct executive-level pay and market best practice benchmarking.
  • Monitor applicable SEC, accounting, and tax regulations to ensure plans remain compliant and competitive.
  • Manage activities for long-term incentive program design, budgeting, and planning processes.
  • Lead executive compensation projects from design to execution, including modeling, planning, communication, and training.
  • Prepare ad-hoc compensation analyses and reports as requested by Senior Leadership.
  • Administer, communicate, and report on long-term incentive compensation programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in executive compensation, with at least one completed proxy.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex data sets and develop actionable conclusions.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
  • Strong sensitivity to handling confidential information.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with a high sense of accountability, integrity, and discretion.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office experience, particularly with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
