Senior Facilities Manager

About the position

The Senior Facilities Manager at JLL is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operations, and safety of multiple commercial properties across the US and Canada, while also supporting the LATAM Account Lead. This role focuses on managing Hard Services operations, collaborating with Soft Services teams, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. The position requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, operations, and safety of multiple commercial properties.
• Manage Hard Services operations while collaborating with Soft Services Team Lead.
• Participate in organizational strategic planning and guide tactical actions.
• Prepare impactful presentations and reports for senior management.
• Create and manage annual budgets for facility operations and capital improvements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Lead and mentor a team of facilities staff and third-party suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, national, and client-specific requirements.
• Implement energy-efficient practices and sustainability initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 6-10 years' experience in facilities or property management.
• Strong business acumen, including financial planning and analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC and electrical systems.
