About the position

The Senior Facility Design Engineer will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of multiple buildings and facilities within Ohio. This position involves leadership in capital investment projects and managing ongoing and future expansion projects, ensuring that all activities align with project priorities and comply with engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leadership for planning and execution of capital investment projects.
• Manage ongoing and future expansion projects infrastructure and facility layout.
• Execute projects by managing groups of projects in designated plant areas.
• Gather and analyze data, blueprints, and reports proficiently.
• Deliver assigned project objectives for scope, schedule, budget, and cash flow.
• Ensure daily activities are aligned with overall project priorities.
• Comply with all site EHS and engineering standards.
• Develop facility and infrastructure standards throughout multiple sites.
• Collaborate with all levels of the operational team to gather input on project objectives.
• Support project-related programs to facilitate the investment process across the sites.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the overall investment process.
• Develop and maintain key supplier/contractor relationships for consistent and reliable project execution.

Requirements

• BS degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
• Eight or more years' experience in a manufacturing work environment.
• Experience designing and creating facility layouts.
• Experience working with contractors.
• Experience in managing projects and building expansions.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD drawing systems.
• Strong leadership and motivation skills within all layers of the business.
