The Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) is Georgetown's center for teaching innovation, research, and excellence. At CNDLS, we enrich the academic experience by supporting faculty and the broader teaching community at Georgetown through a diverse array of programs & initiatives, services, and comprehensive teaching resources. The Senior Faculty Developer supports the new Georgetown Dialogues Initiative (GDI), an institutional initiative to build capacity for rich student engagement in difficult dialogue around challenging ideas, and encourages free speech and academic expression in our curriculum. The Senior Faculty Developer will facilitate a campus-wide faculty development program that empowers educators to facilitate meaningful dialogues in their classrooms. They will work alongside a dedicated team of professionals from CNDLS and other university units to run workshops, conversations, and other events in support of the GDI, and other faculty initiatives. This role will support the ongoing mission of CNDLS and provide expertise and leadership for working with departments and individual faculty to enhance the integration of dialogue, academic inquiry, and discourse across the university.
