About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 7 years of experience specializing in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of mechanical components. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in both thermal and structural analysis, demonstrating strong proficiency in Ansys Workbench. A deep understanding of materials, High Cycle Fatigue (HCF), Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF), and fracture mechanics is essential for this role. As a Senior FEA Mechanical Engineer, you will lead technical solutions, collaborate closely with design teams and suppliers, and ensure that our engineering projects meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Experience with gas turbine and steam turbine components is highly desirable. In this position, you will independently perform finite analysis of mechanical components using Ansys Workbench, focusing on various aspects such as thermal, structural, nonlinear, and buckling analysis. You will drive technical reviews and work collaboratively with internal design teams and external sub-suppliers to develop and validate engineering solutions. Your expert knowledge in HCF, LCF, fracture mechanics, and materials science will be crucial in enhancing the integrity of designs. You will also conduct analytical calculations for bolted and welded constructions, ensuring reliability and compliance with industry standards. Participation in project review meetings will be a key responsibility, where you will offer technical insights and ensure alignment with project goals. Additionally, you will coordinate with other discipline leads to ensure cohesive and integrated project execution. If you have experience with PLM and Teamcenter, you will have the opportunity to utilize these tools to streamline engineering workflows, further optimizing analysis and design processes.
