About the position

The Senior Federal Financial Analyst will provide essential support in requirements management, financial accounting, and acquisition processes for government agencies. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies that govern the Agency's accounting services and operations. The position requires a strong understanding of federal budget execution and financial reporting, as well as the ability to manage complex financial documentation and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist government lead/TPOC in the preparation and review of acquisition support documentation for accuracy and compliance with Agency and DoD policies.
• Create and complete Acquisition Planning Records (APR) and Purchase Requests (PR) in the DIA Contract Management System (CMS).
• Track progress of CMS packages until fully approved, committed, and obligated.
• Follow CMS packages through fund certification, ensuring timely commitment and obligation, making corrections as needed.
• Notify government lead of any issues with funding.
• Assist government lead with working MIPR unliquidated obligations.
• Prepare invoice receiving acceptance forms and submit to TPOC for signature.
• Run Account Detail Reports (ADR) in FACTS to reconcile expenses and prepare documentation regarding contract burn rates.

Requirements

• At least 8 years working within federal government budget execution, monitoring, and financial reporting.
