About the position

The Senior Field Service Engineer at Revvity plays a crucial role in enhancing laboratory productivity and customer satisfaction by providing expert service and support for the In Vivo Imaging product line. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation at customer sites, primarily in Maryland and surrounding states, while ensuring adherence to service protocols and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, validate, and repair Revvity and/or multivendor instrumentation at customer sites.
  • Provide scheduled and unscheduled corrective maintenance for customers, including warranty services.
  • Deliver customer familiarization for instrument operation and maintenance.
  • Communicate service offerings including training, support, software, and laboratory services products.
  • Partner with customers to understand their analytical workflow and application.
  • Support local instrument sales representatives to help secure new instrument orders.
  • Drive the sale of new service agreements, service agreement upgrades, and instrument add-ons to existing contracts.
  • Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills and actively interface with peers and customers.
  • Contribute to account profitability through efficient execution and service delivery.
  • Maintain assigned assets including company vehicle, tools, and service parts inventory.
  • Proactively develop technical and soft skills to enhance Revvity's value proposition to customers.
  • Report improvement opportunities via the quality notification process.
  • Complete all administrative tasks including time reporting and assigned training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of field experience in medical and biological research device service and support.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Associate's degree and a minimum of 7 years of field experience in medical and biological research device service and support.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with In Vivo Imaging products.
  • Higher level certification in relevant technical fields.
