About the position

The Senior Finance Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis at ZS is responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic support to senior management. This role focuses on improving company performance through data-driven insights and collaboration with senior leaders, ensuring effective communication of complex financial information.

Responsibilities

• Support senior company leaders across a range of activities from analysis and issue identification through to strategic initiatives.
• Support annual and longer-term company planning together with ongoing in-year projections of company earnings and performance.
• Drive monthly resource planning and supply/demand capacity management.
• Management of investment projects and key internal initiatives.
• Prepare analysis and presentations for key company meetings - Board of Directors, Operating Leadership Committee, Principals Meetings, Regional Leadership Meetings.
• Proactively identify key trends within the business and initiate actions to improve company performance and support ongoing growth and expansion.
• Support ad-hoc projects and research for enterprise teams and senior leadership.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Finance or closely related field required, advanced degree welcomed.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in financial analysis supporting internal business units or stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency with machine learning tools, Python or R desirable.
• Excellent organizational and task management skills.
• Ability to think strategically and commercially and a willingness to dive down into the details.
• Ability to work closely with senior leaders while retaining objective and professional finance perspective.
• Judgment to know when to challenge something and when to lend support.
• High motivation, strong work ethic and personal initiative.
