About the position

The position of Senior Finance Analyst, Integration is a critical role within the Pernod Ricard USA Finance organization, focusing on the integration of newly acquired brands. This role involves providing detailed financial reporting and analysis while adhering to best practices across all finance processes. The Senior Finance Analyst will need to possess a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end transaction process and the timeline for integrating partner brands. This position requires interaction with multiple stakeholders across various departments, including Operations, Accounting, Marketing, Portfolio Finance, Commercial Finance, Brand Entrepreneurs, and Executive teams, as well as the Pernod Ricard headquarters. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background coupled with excellent communication skills, enabling them to build relationships both internally and with new brand partners. They should be proactive in managing various processes and projects, driving efficiencies and standardization. This role is essential for supporting the company's growth and strategic objectives, requiring a balance between detailed analysis and a broader understanding of the business landscape. Reporting to the VP of US Whiskeys & Agave, the Senior Finance Analyst will act as a liaison for Pernod Ricard USA in the integration of newly acquired brands, ensuring that all financial aspects are managed effectively during the transition. This includes maintaining internal control structures, providing insights for forecasting, and supporting the execution of strategic projects related to acquisitions. The role demands a thorough approach with a high level of accuracy, as well as the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support new brand integration for Pernod Ricard USA according to the integration strategy.
  • Act as the finance point of contact for stakeholders post-M&A transaction.
  • Liaise with the Global M&A team to support local market requests and financial performance reviews.
  • Engage with third parties involved in M&A transactions for data and change management needs.
  • Serve as the local expert on executed M&A transactions.
  • Advocate for the Finance Department on all finance-related topics during integration phases.
  • Support business leads in monitoring progress on key tasks, risks, and dependencies for integration initiatives.
  • Maintain internal control structures and procedures for integration processes.
  • Provide insights to the Portfolio Finance team to enhance the forecasting process.
  • Coordinate initial planning processes and requirements with new businesses.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure a comprehensive integration plan.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of accounting records during integration with the North American Accounting team.
  • Support the execution of ad-hoc strategic projects for new and recent acquisitions.
  • Assist in the integration process for previously executed acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a structured approach to managing multiple work streams.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity and seeks new approaches to drive success.
  • Ability to embrace cross-functional collaboration and champion a culture of entrepreneurship and conviviality.
  • Strong sense of integrity and ethics.
