About the position

As a Senior Finance Analyst at CBRE, you will leverage advanced accounting principles to prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for a diverse portfolio of clients and properties. This role is integral to the Financial Strategy and Operations function, focusing on maintaining robust accounting and reporting policies and controls.

Responsibilities

• Complete intermediate to advanced-level accounting transactions for client financial statement packages.
• Create and post journal entries, ensuring accurate posting of expenses, receipts, distributions, and other transactions.
• Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and timely delivery to clients and management teams.
• Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Resolve complex accounting issues and requests from management and clients.
• Identify potential issues and take corrective actions to minimize conflicts.
• Facilitate maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.
• Demonstrate knowledge of standard principles and techniques to solve routine problems.
• Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and lead by example.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze solutions using technical experience and appropriate judgment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for financial calculations.
