CACI is seeking a full-time Senior Finance/Budget Analyst to join our dynamic team, providing a wide range of financial support duties to accomplish critical objectives. This role is essential in managing, creating, and analyzing spend plans, and the analyst will be recognized as a subject matter expert on budgetary matters. The position involves working towards achieving targets that significantly impact departmental results and contributing to the development of departmental goals and planning efforts, including budgets and plans. The analyst may also manage large projects or processes that extend beyond their immediate job area, influencing others regarding policies, practices, and procedures with limited oversight. The Senior Finance/Budget Analyst will assist senior management in making informed decisions by highlighting critical budget, schedule, and performance risk factors. This role requires recognizing the relevance of analytical results and making moderate to significant improvements to processes, systems, or products to enhance job performance. The analyst will face numerous and undefined problems that require detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation to understand the issues, which typically impact multiple departments or specialties. Communication is key, as the analyst will interact with parties both within and outside their job function, including customers and vendors, and will be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees. Responsibilities

  • Manage, create, and/or re-evaluate and analyze spend plans.
  • Serve as a recognized subject matter expert on budgetary matters.
  • Work to achieve targets with major impact on departmental results.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental goals and planning efforts (budgets, plans, etc.).
  • Manage large projects or processes that span outside of immediate job area.
  • Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Perform work with limited oversight.
  • Responsible for ad hoc or other tasks relevant to the role.
  • Assist senior management with decisions and highlight critical budget, schedule, and performance risk factors.
  • Recognize the relevance of analytical results.
  • Make moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems, or products to enhance job performance.
  • Gather detailed information, analyze, and investigate to understand problems that impact multiple departments or specialties.
  • Communicate with parties within and outside of own job function, including customers and vendors.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area.
  • Lead major/complex projects involving delegation of work and review of work products.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • At least eight years of professional work experience in project/program management, quantitative analysis, financial analysis, and/or structured approaches to analysis including data manipulation.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in financial management/analysis, quantitative analysis, financial analysis, social sciences, or a closely related field.
  • A Master's Degree in quantitative analysis, financial analysis, social sciences, or a closely related field. An MBA may substitute for two years of applicable work experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite of products.
  • Excellent organizational ability.
  • Excellent analytical skills and exercising initiative while exhibiting sound/professional judgement.
  • Deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
