About the position

As a Senior Finance Director at Worldpay, you will be stepping into a pivotal role that encompasses high-level strategic and financial responsibilities. This position is the most senior level of management within the finance department, where you will direct and control the activities of one or more broad functional areas, divisions, or product groups through Director-level and Senior Managers. Your leadership will be crucial in developing, leading, managing, and motivating staff to achieve the company's financial goals and objectives. In this role, you will take charge of the Annual Long-Range Plan, which includes leading central analysis and modeling, communicating with key stakeholders, and creating executive presentations to support segment and functional targets. You will also own the monthly close and forecast processes, particularly focusing on tax and interest, which will require strong business partnership skills with senior stakeholders to drive inputs. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying variances to forecast and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for building out and maintaining recurring deliverables to support Worldpay's non-controlling interest stakeholders. A proactive approach to identifying areas for process improvement will be key to enhancing operational efficiency within the finance team. Your extensive experience in financial management will enable you to navigate complex financial landscapes and contribute to the overall success of Worldpay.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, manage, and motivate finance staff.
  • Oversee the Annual Long-Range Plan, including central analysis/modeling and communications to stakeholders.
  • Create executive presentations to support segment and functional targets.
  • Own the monthly close and forecast processes, focusing on tax and interest.
  • Drive inputs through strong business partnerships with senior stakeholders.
  • Identify and address variances to forecast through analytical skills.
  • Build and maintain recurring deliverables for non-controlling interest stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant financial experience including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and modeling.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, team building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • General business skills and industry knowledge.
  • Financial management and planning skills with long-term vision and executive presence.
  • Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and their application in a large organization.
  • Ability to identify, address, and resolve employee-related issues.
