About the position

The Senior Finance Manager for AWS Industries will lead a team that partners with the Financial Services and Telecommunications business unit within Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is crucial for providing end-to-end financial support, driving growth through financial stewardship, and delivering analytical insights into key performance metrics. The successful candidate will work closely with senior business leaders and will have exposure to the AWS CEO and CFO, making strategic contributions to operational processes and business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Financial Analysts
• Act as the CFO and key business partner to the senior business leaders for Financial Services and Telecommunications
• Provide financial leadership, strategic guidance and support to the business team to deliver outstanding financial results
• Develop relationships, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
• Experience with Tableau, Python, SQL, Quicksight, Cognos or other BI packages.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA or CPA
• Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes.
