About the position

The Senior Finance Manager role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a strategic position responsible for providing comprehensive financial support to the Financial Services and Telecommunications business unit. This role involves leading a team of Financial Analysts and acting as a key business partner to senior leaders, ensuring outstanding financial results through strategic guidance and financial leadership. The successful candidate will engage in evaluating operational processes and business opportunities while providing analytical insights into financial and operational performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Financial Analysts
• Act as the CFO and key business partner to the senior business leaders for Financial Services and Telecommunications
• Provide financial leadership, strategic guidance and support to the business team to deliver outstanding financial results
• Develop relationships, processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
• Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or other BI packages

Nice-to-haves
