About the position

The Senior Finance Manager for Azure Analytic & Automation will play a pivotal role in the revenue budgeting process for Azure, focusing on automating key aspects to enhance efficiency and drive growth. This position involves collaborating with various teams to develop revenue targets and insights that will support strategic decision-making and resource allocation across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Leverage programming and tool building to design and implement automated solutions for the Azure revenue budgeting process across all products.
• Partner with MCAPS Sales, Engineering, and business teams to drive cloud consumption analytics supporting critical Azure motions, primarily Azure Database.
• Lead the annual budgeting process for Azure Database, including data preparation, insight gathering, modeling, and landing targets with stakeholders.
• Land revenue budget with the global field sales organization by helping stakeholders understand key strategies, priorities, drivers, and opportunities for growth.
• Enable deeper understanding of key Azure workloads by building models that provide actionable insights and follow up with field leaders across Sales and Finance organizations.
• Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and stakeholders, often under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate across groups without direct authority to deliver high-impact results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, data science, data analytics, or related field.
• OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, data science, data analytics, or related field.
• Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, or others.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, data science, or data analytics work experience.
• OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, data science, or data analytics work experience.
• 1+ year experience in multinational with multi-product/multi-segment finance role.
• 1+ year work experience in a matrix-based organization.
• 1+ year work experience in the technology or software industry.
• Exposure to executive and management with an ability to communicate ideas and analysis effectively, as well as influencing business decisions.
