About the position

The Senior Finance Manager - Cloud Network Services Enablement plays a crucial role in Microsoft's Cloud-first strategy, focusing on optimizing investments and enabling scalable accounting solutions. This position involves managing a multi-billion dollar asset portfolio, influencing system and process design, and collaborating with various global partners to enhance financial operations related to Cloud Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for Cloud Network Services.
• Guide and enable accounting treatment and processes for cloud network services.
• Drive insight and clarity on Cloud network services accounting guidance to inform business decisions and financial planning.
• Participate in thought leadership for Business Enablement within a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and Microsoft Policy, enabling controls for accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Build and manage partnerships with teams across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Business.
• Embrace inclusion and a growth mindset to support quality partner experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Master's Degree in the same fields AND 2+ years experience OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience preferred.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Previous Cost Accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in Cloud, supply chain, fixed assets, and/or multi-national companies preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, Internal Controls, and SOX.
• Demonstrated systems and process improvement experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in financial analysis IC4 level.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines.
