About the position

The Senior Finance Manager, Operations & Supply Chain at Pernod Ricard USA is a pivotal role within the North America Operations Finance organization. This position is designed for an ambitious finance leader who will support decision-making in Operations and Manufacturing across the NA Region. The role encompasses financial management responsibilities, including planning, forecasting, and analysis, while providing strategic decision support to the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Finance Partnering and Decision Support to VP Operations.
  • Identify opportunities for harmonization and consolidation across manufacturing facilities to drive costs out of the supply chain.
  • Lead benchmarking and sourcing studies to optimize costs.
  • Coordinate cost reduction and benchmarking to ensure optimized COGS for the company.
  • Develop business cases for major Strategic Projects and Initiatives with the Operations team.
  • Support the Continuous Improvement team in identifying value-add opportunities.
  • Supervise New Product Development cost estimates and track delivery accuracy.
  • Deliver Key Performance Indicators that drive business performance.
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process for Capital Expenditure and Strategic Inventory.
  • Lead Quarterly Cash reviews with the Operations business.
  • Manage the annual 3-year Capex and Strategic Inventory Planning Cycle.
  • Analyze monthly results and provide feedback to the VP of Operations.
  • Produce Management Reports on regional progress and implement reporting improvements.
  • Lead HQ required reporting submissions in coordination with the Reporting team.
  • Control and challenge Capex to ensure appropriate investments are made.
  • Perform detailed analysis for significant investments and calculate ROCE.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years working experience within Finance / Accounting.
  • Public accounting or consulting experience preferred.
  • CPA/MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Desired experience in EssBase, JD Edwards, Hubble.
  • Interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills for problem-solving and cooperative solutions.
  • Ability to influence decisions, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills for effective team building.
  • Process-driven with a track record of process innovation.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to work individually and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial management within the beverage or consumer goods industry.
  • Familiarity with supply chain finance and operations.
