About the position

The Senior Finance Manager - Real Estate Strategy & Development at Anduril Industries will lead the design and execution of global real estate initiatives, focusing on office campuses and manufacturing facilities. This role is pivotal in balancing creative design with operational needs, managing relationships with external partners, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The position requires strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with business leaders to develop innovative solutions for real estate challenges, contributing to Anduril's strategic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global real estate strategy that supports a distributed workforce and strategic manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee and maintain active market research and current real estate portfolio analysis.
  • Coordinate closely with the internal occupancy planning team to develop a thoughtful real estate leasing strategy.
  • Execute on mission-aligned real estate opportunities through new builds and potential acquisitions.
  • Own key real estate tools and documents including updates to LOI and lease standards.
  • Draft and create a variety of analyses and relevant documents, including project initiation and financial analysis.
  • Manage critical dates reports, working closely with accounting, finance, and legal.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Prepare financial reports and present to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Meet regularly with business partners to understand real estate needs by team and location.
  • Develop and communicate clear business cases for real estate projects.
  • Draft and present Quarterly Business Reviews outlining progress and strategy for global real estate.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing complex real estate projects globally.
  • Experience managing large-scale construction projects in a retail and corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions for workplace design.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, consultants, and vendors.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver high-impact results on time and within budget.
  • Ability to gather requirements from various stakeholders and communicate complex subjects clearly.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations.

Nice-to-haves

  • 10+ years of experience in Real Estate, Facilities, Construction, or Workplace Strategy.
  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, real estate finance, or a related field.
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing workload situations.
  • Previous experience with organizing and resolving legal and financial matters related to real estate activities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic corporate environment.
