About the position
The Senior Finance Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing the NetSuite finance system, acting as an expert and global business partner. This position involves collaboration with key stakeholders across various departments to streamline processes, implement system integrations, and improve the overall customer experience. The analyst will also be responsible for documentation, user acceptance testing, and staying updated with new capabilities within NetSuite.
Responsibilities
- Act as a NetSuite finance system expert, administrator, and global business partner.
- Drive and manage system implementations, integrations, and customizations with NetSuite certified vendors.
- Identify opportunities for automation to increase quality and speed of processes.
- Streamline day-to-day processes for billing, customer support, and collections.
- Understand data touchpoints in and out of NetSuite, especially with other ERP/CRM systems.
- Create and maintain documentation of the system and business processes, including end-to-end process maps.
- Provide recommendations for design and functionalities related to the customer billing portal.
- Bridge communication between users and technical teams by managing UATs and developers' timelines.
- Stay current with new capabilities within NetSuite and leverage them within the ecosystem.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field and 3 years of experience in ERP or NetSuite administration.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of experience in ERP or NetSuite administration.
- 3 years of experience in NetSuite Financial Management functionality, workflows, administration, and configuration.
- Experience in system integration lifecycle and project/change management.
- Knowledge of user acceptance testing procedures.
- Experience in maintaining user access and functionality for business continuity, including troubleshooting, configuration, and updates.
- Experience managing ERP vendors.
- Knowledge of finance operations management.
- Experience customizing financial reporting.
