Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of the service area team
  • Provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance
  • Analyze, understand and report on key financial and business trends
  • Collect, research and organize financial and operational data
  • Create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses
  • Perform difficult and complex tasks
  • Provide guidance, assistance and training to junior-level analysts
  • Support larger and/or more complex service area teams
  • Utilize critical thinking skills daily
  • Apply knowledge of accrual based accounting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of analytical and business experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a closely related field
  • 5+ years of medical group accounting/finance experience
  • 2+ years of healthcare related experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
