About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst (Clinician Compensation) at Samaritan Health Services is responsible for the calculation, administration, and execution of clinician compensation plans. This role involves maintaining physician compensation databases, validating data accuracy, generating compensation reports, and serving as a point of contact for related inquiries. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and performing ad hoc analyses as needed, all while working remotely in various states.

Responsibilities

• Ownership/maintenance of associated physician compensation databases
• Aggregation/manipulation of associated statistics
• Validation of data completeness and accuracy
• Generation and distribution of related compensation reports
• Upstream/downstream communication
• Serve as expert point for physician compensation related inquiries
• Ongoing partnership and collaboration with associated stakeholders
• Ad Hoc analysis / information requests as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a closely related field; or equivalent related experience required
• Four (4) years progressively responsible experience in financial analysis required
• Experience in a healthcare and healthcare operations preferred
• Experience completing complex analytical tasks with minimal supervision required
• Experience with clinician compensation strongly preferred
• Experience and/or training in the use of accounting, financial and business software applications including Excel, Word and Access required
• Experience with EPIC, Oracle/PeopleSoft, and Axiom EPM preferred
• Experience working across multiple organizations and multiple levels of management preferred

Nice-to-haves

• CPA, Certified Management Accountant, MBA or Masters in Finance preferred
