About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst - Commercial FP&A at Medline Industries, Inc. is responsible for enhancing strategic customer partnerships through comprehensive financial and operational reporting, analysis, and guidance. This role focuses on customer profitability, pricing strategies, and sales performance metrics, while collaborating closely with sales leaders and the Acute Care FP&A team to ensure effective reporting and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand drivers of Acute Care sales force profitability.
• Leverage existing financial and operational dashboards and build new reporting/dashboards to meet business partner needs.
• Distribute monthly reporting to Acute Care Sales VPs with insightful commentary, identifying trends and anomalies.
• Utilize advanced reporting and analysis tools, including Tableau and Alteryx, when appropriate.
• Collaborate with Acute Care FP&A team members to ensure consistency and quality in reporting measures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years of financial planning, reporting, and analysis experience.
• Experience working with an ERP system; SAP experience is a plus.
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel (PowerPivot, PowerQuery, sensitivity analysis, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Tableau experience preferred.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Alteryx experience preferred.
