About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst in Corporate FP&A will play a crucial role in supporting the organization through insightful reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. This position is designed for a candidate with a strong background in corporate finance, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. The role requires initiative and the ability to effectively collaborate with business partners across various levels of the organization to facilitate sound financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business through budgeting, forecasting, and related insight-driven reporting.
  • Identify areas of improvement and propose logical solutions.
  • Keep the organization informed of industry trends and peer performance.
  • Compile industry and census-related surveys.
  • Develop, validate, and explain financial trends, variances, and performance with effective commentary.
  • Generate monthly reporting packages for executive and senior management.
  • Perform other duties, projects, and ad hoc analysis as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of finance-related experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish successful cross-departmental relationships.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading team initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in delivering accurate, informative, and timely reporting and analysis.
  • Intermediate to advanced forecasting, modeling, and data analysis skills required.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, charting, and advanced formulas.
  • Experience with Finance and Business Intelligence tools such as BI360, Great Plains, Workday, PowerBI, and Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and a problem solver.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools.
