About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A will be responsible for preparing forward-looking financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, by analyzing historical trends and future forecasts. This role involves using MS Excel and Power BI to generate reports and analyses that inform senior management about business performance against plans. The analyst will collaborate closely with the Accounting Department during the month-end close process and will support data uploads and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare forward-looking financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Conduct routine and ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Gather input for annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly projections.
• Work closely with the Accounting Department during the close process.
• Monitor performance indicators and analyze causes of unexpected variance.
• Support management teams with in-depth analysis of budget variances.
• Communicate effectively with various levels of staff and build senior-level relationships.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in budgeting and financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with various data files and layouts.
• Ability to conduct analysis of current and past trends in key performance indicators.
• Experience analyzing complex financial information and reports for management decision-making.
• Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience developing PowerPoint presentations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Spanish fluency is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in plastic returnable rigid bulk packaging.
• Creating data extracts is a plus.
• Experience working with international operations.
