About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) at Haworth is responsible for supporting financial planning, reporting, accounting, and business analysis processes to meet company objectives. This role involves ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies, overseeing financial reporting activities, and collaborating with various functional groups to assist with budgeting and forecasting. The position offers a flexible work schedule, allowing for remote work 1 or 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the development of annual corporate financial plans and budgets.
• Oversee financial reporting activities.
• Ensure financial transactions comply with generally accepted accounting principles and legal requirements.
• Support external audits to ensure legal compliance.
• Train finance staff to inform, coach, and mentor others.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and participate in financial analysis projects.
• Partner with functional leaders to help them understand their financial metrics.
• Consolidate financial results and summarize executive summaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
• 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years with a Master's degree.
• Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification strongly preferred.
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
