About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A Systems Support at Tidal Wave Auto Spa is a pivotal role focused on enhancing and supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) systems. This position aims to drive accuracy, efficiency, and actionable insights within the finance team by partnering with FP&A team members and key stakeholders to develop, maintain, and optimize FP&A systems and tools. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of financial expertise and technical skills, along with a proactive approach to system improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary administrator for FP&A systems, ensuring data integrity and managing user access.
  • Facilitate and enhance the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes by developing and maintaining complex financial models and templates.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, create data validation checks, and ensure data accuracy for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide visibility into financial performance.
  • Identify and implement system improvements to streamline financial reporting, budget consolidation, and forecasting processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support FP&A system projects, integrations, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation of FP&A system configurations, process workflows, and data management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or finance systems support.
  • Experience with FP&A systems such as Adaptive Insights, or similar is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data modeling, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle large data sets and complex financial models.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with FP&A systems implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and finance best practices.
