About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A at Dynatrace plays a crucial role in the FP&A organization, providing financial support and guidance for the Business Finance function. This position involves leading the Forecasting & Business Planning process for IT/Facilities/Transformation Office functions and managing Global Capital planning. The analyst will collaborate with various levels of leadership, enhance financial modeling, and contribute to the company's growth by delivering insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic, operational, and financial insights as a Finance Business Partner.
• Enhance modeling for key strategic investments and resource management.
• Provide value-added insights to functional leaders for better decision-making and accurate forecasts.
• Improve visibility into risks and opportunities in operating plans with business partners.
• Prepare proposals summarizing findings and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Perform monthly variance analyses of budget/forecast against actual financial performance.
• Support automation of KPI reporting in collaboration with the Business Intelligence Finance team.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to implement and administer key financial reporting/planning systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance in a corporate setting.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong financial and operational analytical capabilities with an interest in high growth Subscription business.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (pivots, macros, nested formulas).
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and/or Microsoft PowerBI.
• Experience working in NetSuite and Anaplan Planning/Forecasting/Business Intelligence environments.
• Strong track record of working cross-functionally to support critical business objectives.
