About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A at Dynatrace plays a crucial role in providing financial insights and strategic support to leadership. This position involves enhancing financial modeling for key investments, managing resource allocation, and conducting variance analyses to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting. The analyst will collaborate with various functional leaders to drive informed decision-making and improve visibility into financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Finance Business Partner to provide strategic, operational, and financial insights.
• Enhance financial modeling for key strategic investments and resource management.
• Support the annual spend/investment planning process and quarterly forecast updates.
• Prepare proposals summarizing findings and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Perform monthly variance analyses of budget/forecast against actual financial performance.
• Support automation of KPI reporting in collaboration with the Business Intelligence Finance team.
• Collaborate with all teams within Finance to implement and administer key financial reporting/planning systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance in a corporate setting.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong financial and operational analytical capabilities with an interest in high growth Subscription business economics.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (pivots, macros, nested formulas).
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and/or Microsoft PowerBI.
• Experience working in NetSuite and Anaplan Planning/Forecasting/Business Intelligence environments.
• Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives.
• Ability to develop analysis and recommendations in ambiguous situations.
