About the position

As a Senior Financial Analyst within the FP&A Operations team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial planning and analysis processes for a global organization with revenues exceeding $14 billion. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A Operations, you will engage with senior leadership, including the Sr. Director and VP of FP&A, Investor Relations, and the SVP Corporate Controller, to drive initiatives that enhance our financial analytics and forecasting capabilities. Your responsibilities will include the continuous improvement and simplification of corporate processes in alignment with the Corporate FP&A roadmap. You will prepare comprehensive materials for the Board of Directors, consolidating financial schedules and crafting compelling storyboards that effectively communicate our financial strategies. Additionally, you will support the consolidation and reporting of key financial processes across Global Finance, including Monthly Revenue Reviews (MRR), Quarterly Revenue Reviews (QRR), forecasts, Long Range Planning (LRP), Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and earnings reports. In this role, you will build highly automated data aggregation and reporting capabilities to enhance enterprise-wide sales and income forecasting. This will involve incorporating external references to provide deeper insights to senior leadership. You will also be responsible for calculating and reporting on the performance of organizational incentive programs, ensuring that all financial models you develop account for complex factors such as foreign exchange impacts on our global businesses. Your findings will be presented to senior leadership, providing them with actionable insights and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Nominating and delivering on continuous improvement and simplification of all Corporate processes in line with Corporate FP&A roadmap of initiatives.
  • Preparation of all materials presented to the Board of Directors, including consolidating financial schedules and formulating storyboards.
  • Support the consolidation and reporting for key processes across Global Finance (MRR QRR, Forecasts, LRP, AOP, Earnings).
  • Build highly automated and efficient data aggregation and reporting capabilities to support enterprise-wide sales and income forecasting.
  • Preparation of all materials for the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors, including providing financial analysis and commentary.
  • Calculation and reporting on organizational incentive program performance and payout.
  • Build and maintain financial models for forecasting complex areas including the impact of foreign exchange on global businesses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or country equivalent). CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years of working experience within Finance in a large multinational organization or top-tier management consulting firm.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, strong intellectual curiosity, and outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate in a team-oriented environment and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong process mindset and willingness to drive initiatives to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong ownership mentality; maintains focus on driving projects to completion and delivering output/results.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks concurrently; owns career and is accountable for managing own development.
  • Ability to distill insights from complex analyses and create concise and compelling presentations to senior leadership audience.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillset.
