The Senior Financial Analyst position is a hybrid role that requires both analytical support for the Finance Planning team and collaboration with Business Partners within ESI. This role is pivotal in the development and preparation of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis related to volume and gross margin, which includes various revenue and cost components. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a proficiency in Excel to model data and create or modify reports. Experience with multidimensional databases, such as Oracle Essbase, is considered a plus. Key responsibilities include drug/client level gross margin reporting, forecasting, and analysis for management teams, as well as month-end close reporting and variance explanation analysis. The analyst will also be involved in the annual budget development process, coordinating and reviewing submissions, and presenting analyses at both drug and client levels. Leading budget kickoffs with business partners, building templates, conducting training, and overseeing the budget of specific cost accounts impacting margins are also essential functions of this role. Additionally, the analyst will perform ad-hoc analysis and participate in projects as needed by finance partners and cross-functional teams.
