About the position

Join the Cleveland Clinic team as a Senior Financial Analyst I in the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) department, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers dedicated to providing patient-first healthcare. Our RCM team plays a crucial role in supporting the Cleveland Clinic mission by ensuring timely and appropriate payment for services rendered in an efficient and patient-friendly manner. In this role, you will assist with the PASS and Customer Service teams, support integration efforts, and collaborate with Florida leadership on RCM reporting needs. Your responsibilities will include providing financial or RCM data, metrics, and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the organization's needs. You will prepare, analyze, and communicate key financial information, as well as provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and related issues. Additionally, you will assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance, and financial planning processes. You will be expected to retrieve and manipulate complex information using database tools such as SAS and Teradata, and consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for various initiatives, policies, and procedures. This position may also involve performing special projects and duties related to research, forecasting, and conflict resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis, and proposal development, making this a pivotal role within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
  • Four years of financial, RCM, or general analytical experience.
  • Ability to complete sophisticated, analytical, consultative, and information support through analysis and report preparation.
  • Strong understanding of complex key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis, and proposal development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree.
  • Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may substitute one year of required experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
  • Healthcare experience.
