About the position

Join the Cleveland Clinic team, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. Cleveland Clinic is recognized as one of the top hospitals in the nation. In this role as a Senior Financial Analyst, you will assist with the PASS and Customer Service teams, support integration efforts, and work with Florida leadership on Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) reporting needs. A caregiver in this position works from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will provide financial or RCM data, metrics, and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the organization's needs. Your responsibilities will include preparing, analyzing, and communicating key financial information, as well as providing support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues. You will also assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance, and financial planning processes. This position requires the ability to retrieve and manipulate complex information using database tools such as SAS and Teradata, and to consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
  • Four years of financial, RCM, or general analytical experience.
  • Ability to complete sophisticated, analytical, consultative, and information support through analysis and report preparation.
  • Strong understanding of complex key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis, and proposal development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree.
  • Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may substitute one year of required experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
  • Healthcare experience.
