About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst in Sales Operations is responsible for leading the development of planning, evaluation, and assessment of corporate initiatives at Ryder. This role focuses on analyzing strategic alternatives to enhance the company's market position and providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support management in developing planning, evaluation, and assessment of corporate initiatives.
  • Propose strategic alternatives to enhance Ryder's market position.
  • Provide actionable competitive analysis and insights to feed strategy development.
  • Facilitate tactical decision-making through periodic and ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct ongoing business analysis to develop recommendations for profit improvement and shareholder value creation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Five (5) years or more of experience post-MBA is preferred.
  • Five (5) years or more of experience in a corporate Finance Department within a Fortune 500 Company or consulting firm is preferred.
  • Prior Salesforce experience is necessary.
