In this role, you will lead the monthly sales reporting process, which includes building models for sales reporting, conducting price/volume/mix analysis, and performing variance analysis with comprehensive commentary on actual results compared to budget, prior year, and forecasts. You will utilize large financial datasets to create predictive models and lead data analysis to identify root causes of issues. Your responsibilities will also include preparing key financial and operational analyses and reports, automating data collection processes, and supporting the monthly reporting package, which encompasses the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows. You will analyze and monitor KPIs across various business facets, including Safety, Operations, Commercial, Financial, ESG, and HR. Collaborating with leadership, you will evaluate initiatives aimed at improving business performance and assist in tracking these actions over time. Continuous process improvements in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting will be a focus, leveraging technology and analytical tools, including AI and machine learning. You will support the Director of FP&A, CFO, CCO, and other leadership members by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and recommending actionable insights. Additionally, you will contribute to the finance team by identifying opportunities for enhancements and leading special projects as needed.
