About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst Task Lead will oversee the LHA program, managing team members and financial products for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC. This role involves execution planning, funding document preparation, and financial analysis to support budget exhibits and briefings. The position requires a strong background in DoD financial management and team leadership, ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the LHA program, managing all LHA team members for all hulls and financial products.
• Execute planning and analysis, including funding document preparation and execution tracking.
• Assist in the analysis and preparation of budget exhibits and provide financial input for LHA briefings and reports.
• Develop and document procedures, ensuring team compliance with LHA processes and procedures.

Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience in financial analysis and management.
• Supervisory and team management experience.
• Familiarity with DoD/DoN financial policies and regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems and budget cycle development.
• 10 years of DoD/DoN financial management experience, specifically in NAVSEA shipbuilding and/or the PPBE process.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of DoD acquisition phases.
• Experience with DoN/NAVSEA shipbuilding programs.
