About the position

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst in Princeton, New Jersey. The role involves financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting in our industry. You will be expected to work closely with different teams, analyze financial data, and provide meaningful insights to drive performance results. This role is a hybrid onsite position (three days a week) in Princeton, NJ. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will build and maintain strong reporting relationships with business partners at all locations to improve communication and understanding of the business. You will provide financial support to evaluate the annual budget, long-term strategic business plan, and periodic forecasting processes. Your analysis will include examining price, mix, and volume impact to monthly revenue results, consolidating and reporting monthly budget vs. actual operating expenses, and providing meaningful insights to the business. You will also calculate run rates and identify trends in the business, assisting with the overall achievement of the division's and company's financial targets. Collaboration with the corporate accounting team to support the monthly close process is essential, as is coordination with sales management and sales operations to assist in the preparation of incentive compensation plans for the sales teams and manage our FP&A variable compensation model. You will analyze and interpret financial data, transforming that data into meaningful and focused information and reports to drive performance results and action. Additionally, you will prepare ad hoc analyses as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Budgeting and Forecasting is required.
  • Demonstrable skills in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) are essential.
  • Proficiency in Forecasting & Modeling is a must.
  • Strong analytical abilities are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Variance Analysis is required.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
  • The role requires exceptional skills in Budgeting.
  • Candidate must have a track record in Analysis.
  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a must.
  • The role requires strong Variance Analysis skills.
