About the position

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Zillow Group is responsible for managing corporate finance activities, collaborating with business leaders, and supporting the growth of the business through strategic financial analysis. This role requires a proactive and analytical candidate who can distill financial insights into actionable strategies to drive revenue and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue and expense analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Support the rapid growth of the business across the nation.
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to ensure sustainable long-term growth.
• Build cross-segment and line of business reporting for senior leadership.
• Partner with business leaders to develop strategies and evaluate business opportunities.
• Provide clear recommendations based on detailed analysis.
• Build and support reporting and model functionality within financial models and planning tools.
• Balance multiple ad hoc requests and demands, shifting focus as necessary.
• Lead and/or participate in meetings with key decision makers, including ZG executives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance.
• Experience building sophisticated financial models in Excel.
• Ability to develop high caliber PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership and Board members.
• Learning agility on financial systems for headcount planning, P&L hierarchies, and management.

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Software experience in Workday, Anaplan, and Tableau.
• Database and SQL querying experience.
