About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the North American Corporate Finance team at Ipsos, supporting the Finance Vice President. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and relevant experience in corporate finance. The analyst will be responsible for financial reporting, project management support, and assisting in the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in maintaining project attributes and conducting monthly financial project reviews.
• Responsible for the monthly accounting close, including reviewing financials and pulling reports.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and assist in quarterly presentations.
• Provide financial analysis and consulting to senior Finance leadership.
• Liaise with the accounting department and Global contacts to manage assigned business units.
• Support the Finance VP in managing the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
• Prepare financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare regularly recurring reports on a monthly basis.
• Assist in annual external audits by gathering supporting documentation for auditors.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting including variance analysis against budget/forecast.
• Lead training for current and new staff on financial systems for all businesses in scope.
• Conduct ad hoc reporting.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years' experience in corporate finance/FP&A
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Data savvy with strong attention to detail and accuracy
