About the position

Amentum is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support onsite in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for developing financial spend plans and budgets, inputting data into CERBERUS, and tracking variances. You will report on and analyze the Status of Funds while maintaining financial checkbooks. Your duties will also include developing and processing funding packages, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines, and performing financial reconciliation and database research, including Unliquidated Obligations (ULO). You will manage and reconcile obligations, commitments, and disbursements using various tools such as SABRS, PRBuilder, SMARTS, WAWF, EDA, DTS, NHS, and CERBERUS. Additionally, you will assist with the Triannual Review (TAR) by researching and reconciling transactions, support the DoD Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and budget submission processes, and prepare and manage funding documents for various appropriations including OMMC, PMC, and RDT&E. You will also review and research financial reports and contract modifications for un-liquidated obligations, prepare management reports and presentations on funding and budgets, and support the development and submission of various forms and reports, including POM taskers, Program Management Review briefings, information papers, and impact statements. This position requires a strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop financial spend plans and budgets, input data into CERBERUS, and track variances.
  • Report on and analyze Status of Funds, maintain financial checkbooks.
  • Develop and process funding packages, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Perform financial reconciliation and database research, including Unliquidated Obligations (ULO).
  • Manage and reconcile obligations, commitments, and disbursements using various tools (e.g., SABRS, PRBuilder, SMARTS, WAWF, EDA, DTS, NHS, CERBERUS).
  • Assist with the Triannual Review (TAR) by researching and reconciling transactions.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven expertise in spend plans, unliquidated obligations, commitments, obligations, and disbursements.
  • Experience providing financial support in compliance with OMB Circular A-11, DoD 7000.14-R Financial Management Regulation, Department of Navy Financial Management Policy Manual (August 2018), and Department of Navy Budget Guidance Manual.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial management and related subject areas.
  • Proficiency in word processing and integrated software applications.

Nice-to-haves
