About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst position at enGenius Consulting Group Inc involves providing financial analysis support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The role focuses on budget execution, including the development of Spend Plans, tracking expenditures, and preparing funding packages. The analyst will also evaluate funding guidance, assess the impact of regulatory changes, and consult with management on budget strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, summarize, and identify trends and issues relating to budget execution.
• Develop Spend Plans and track expenditures.
• Review and prepare funding packages for appropriated funds using IE Financial Tracking System and DAI.
• Evaluate funding guidance and resource levels for adequacy in supporting program mission and objectives.
• Review and assess the impact of changes in functional and financial regulations, policies, and guidance.
• Consult management on budget strategies and techniques and use of financial management products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a financial field.
• Active TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance required.
• Minimum 8 years of financial management experience.
• Minimum 4 years of DoD financial management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work on site in a SCIF 5 days a week.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of DOD PPBE processes, with emphasis on execution functions and funding packages for Appropriated Funds.
• Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) experience desired.
