About the position

The Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) business area at Raytheon is seeking an early career finance professional to join the Advanced Open Integrated Solutions (AOIS) Business Management Finance Team as a cost, schedule, and control analyst. This role is crucial for supporting program business managers and program managers by performing program cost reporting, Earned Value Management (EVM), and financial analysis functions. The position offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth in finance and business management disciplines, requiring a strong onsite presence to support classified program teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly and monthly cost and performance monitoring and reports, including monthly Earned Value reporting and development of quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs).
  • Perform detailed financial analysis for functional area and product level cost element breakdowns to define and understand monthly variances to Budget baseline and EAC positions.
  • Process approved Baseline Change Requests (BCR) and support the Latest Revised Estimates (LREs) process.
  • Ensure all changes are incorporated into control systems and support the program Earned Value cadence in executing EVM and EAC requirements.
  • Assist with inquiries and investigations into billing and funding questions/issues and other ad hoc requests.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related field or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, conditional formatting, etc.).
  • Experience with key financial tools including SAP, SAP Business Warehouse or equivalent.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimate at Complete Analysis (EACs) or equivalent.
  • U.S. citizenship is required to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
